All the Road Runnin'
Fast forward. I'm in the southern part of the peachy state of Georgia as a write, after leaving Indianapolis this morning, zigzaging between Time zones. Logging twelve hours of driving. It was a good day. The good Lord kept me safe, free of too much heavy traffic, perfectly sunny sky's and a car that could drive forever, if I let it. Beautiful country through Kentucky, Tennesee and northern Georgia. I can't help but spy every old delipitaded barn or tin roofed shed and wonder of its history and how can I get my hands on some of that seasoned barn wood and rusty tin. So much treasure, so little time to stop. Crap, if I'd had time to stop, it would have been at one of the many whiskey distilleries that passed by. So I thought I'd throw out some suggestions of entertainment that made those places come alive for me as I traveled through...when your passin through the hills of Kentucky and/or Tennessee, I highly recommend "all the roadrunnin" by mark knopfler & emmylou harris. And as you are buzzing through the metropolis of Atlanta, the eagles will serve you well.
Saw a man stop his car, leave his female passenger in it and crawl under the underpass in down town Atlanta, of which I was driving and drop his drawers. I don't think he was just pissin. I had a couple of close calls myself, but...nothing that severe. Bummer.
